EMAS is happy to announce that three awards sponsored by Elsevier have been made at #EMAS2019. These are:

• New Investigator

Marina Sourouni – Establishment of a 3D co-culture model to investigate the role of primary fibroblasts in the development of an invasive phenotype of DCIS lesions

• Best Poster

Iliana Karagkouni – Dietary patterns are associated with aortic stiffness and carotid artery intima-media thickness in healthy postmenopausal women

• Best Oral Presentation

Irene Zolfaroli – Dyslipidemia and bone mass density, trick or threat?

All are receiving 500 Euros and an award certificate.

Authors may apply for the New Investigator award when submitting their abstract to the EMAS Congress.

To be eligible, the researcher must present either a poster or an oral presentation at the congress and must have a current passport showing that he or she is under the age of 35.
